detjoe
any mods??? hard to say, there is false knock, knock that is caused headers hitting the frame, false knock cause by loud valvetrain...more details please? how much experence does the tuner have?? There are a lot of details that if you are just learning you could blow a motor, be careful.

I dont know squat about tuning, but the better details you give will help the people who do know how to hook you up:)

chpspecial
If you lean out the truck to much it can also cause knock. I know it did on mine. I went from 11.2 to 11.6 afr and at 11.6 I started seeing knock, so I went back to 11.2. This is on F/I too.
kaos
the wired thing about it is that i kept running rich up to even after he fixed my fuel unless the wideband was bad

RacerJJ
where can i get high octane fuel In Texas, I don't know. I can tell you that I was running 110 octane fuel and was seeing knock retard as well. I determined it to be false knock due to my exhaust so I just turned down the sensitivity of my sensors until the retard went away.
