Towing with BSER roll pan

Recommended Posts

BSEr roll pan - properly installed

Hidden Hitch- one of the few that fits

Prestigiuos pivoting plate frame- isn't working without some modifications

standard ball receiver- 9" lenght 2' drop - as you can see is hitting the plate frame

It looks like i'm going to either modify the plate frame or buy a basic flip down version. I'm not going to space the trailer hitch down from the frame.

anyone have any pics of there set up, is everyone using the standard 9" length?

thanks;

I don't have any advice. But I was thinkin about doin that, I'm not sure anymore though.

Ther's a few things I can do to make it work but I'm pressed for time.

I will prolly just get the cheap flipped down frame.

You might not have a problem with your truck because the roll pan might sit slightly higher althought I'm not sure?

well the flip down would work but your plate wouldnt be visible. but i have a few ideas, what if you mounted the current flip up bracket you have so it flips down??

or you could pull the brakcet off al together and get some butterfly nitts and bolts and you could use the two bottom hole of the mounting spot on the roll pan and mount them to the top of the plate so the plate would be below the opening for the hitch.

I'm in the same boat as you Creederado. I am afraid a flip down plate will not work because all the fiberglass has been cut from the center of the roll pan to get this plate frame to work.
