lilmarv1117 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Share Posted September 14, 2007 I am looking to get some long tube headers from my 03 ss...i have read alot of the posts in this section...i am wondering if i can put a set of long tubes on my truck with a magnaflow cat back exhaust with dual exits out the rear bumper...what i am thinking is getting long tubes, hi-flow cats and then keep my magnaflow muffler and the dual exits off the rear bumper...however i am reading that the piping must be similar in lengths to avoid the "raspy" sound...im not sure how close the lengths are with the cat back i have...i would like to keep as much on my exhaust as i can, however, if its necessary i will correct it if need be....looking for some advice before i get too deep into this exhaust...thanks in advance.....
