zo6crzy Posted September 14, 2007 Report Share Posted September 14, 2007 Im looking into purchasing the supermaxx headers and cats for my truck..it's an 06 and i cant seem to find a system for it..is there no setup for the 06 V-Max? and also would this setup pass smog in California? misterp Posted September 14, 2007 Report Share Posted September 14, 2007 The system for the SS will also work on the ext-cab VHO/VMax trucks; I'm not sure on the crew-cabs of exact fit but in the case it works out to be too short it would be very simple for an exhaust shop to connect it to the catback. And no LT header system is CARB-approved, however with the cats in place it should pass sniffer tests with flying colors assuming you bring in the truck warmed-up. So it will be up to the individual smog tech to decide if he will overlook it or not, 99.9% of the time they will provided it functions as well as the original parts. Mr. P.
