Thinking About Selling My Blown Loaded Ss

I'm thinking about selling the SS after all this time but still not sure. You can see what it has from my signature. I've haven't hit the track after putting on a 3.0 pulley but it did run a best of 13.69 with stock wheels and stock 3.3 pulley. I didn't remove the tailgate or drop the spare tire like most do so it's definatley got potential and many mods. Wheels/tires are a few months old maybe and it's not a DD. I got a beater I drive to work so this baby sits in the garage all week for the most part. I don't drive it hard and it runs great. I will probably have to repalce a cat that seems to be going bad. That will be done before the truck is sold if I do decide to get rid of her. I don't have a clue what a blown loaded SS goes for with 65K miles. Most are highway miles. I bought the truck new in April 2004. It was a leftover 2003. I migth have a little over 6K miles on her with the blower.

Not a DD? You sure do drive her alot on the weekends then.

Yes I do. I'm 30 mins away from anything so I have to go far to have fun. Plus I some times drive her to work which is a 110 mile round trip. I did use the SS to drive to work for 2 months when I felt like driving her more but the cost of gas changed that. I spent $125+ per week driving the truck compared to $50+ per week with my car.

why are you thinking of selling it?

I've had her since new so I'm thinking of letting her go. I'm still undecided but I thought I would throw it out there and she what people think. The plan is to start working from home so after I get that set up(2-3 weeks) I'm going to sale my DD car and maybe the truck and get something else. I thought about a new vette but don't know if that's practicle but it would be fun to have one. Gas milage in a vette would be much better than the truck. I guess I'm tired of paying $50 anytime I want to drive the truck for a couple days.

if its paid off.. keep it, and buy something else thats fun, like a harley, or an OCC bike..

:withstupid: I love my SS. I used to change cars often. This is the first vehicle I've had this long (3 yrs.), and have never tired of it. (I've had over 30 vehicles since I was 16!) If you sell it, you'll probably regret it later. :chevy:

I agree, If you sell it after all the work you put into it you will probably regret it.

Not to mention the $ youll lose by selling it.

I know I'd lose money but that's to be expected. I've got more into the truck than I ever planned but it's been fun to work on and learn from. I'm still undecided. I really doubt I sell it but I guess I'm still thinking about it. What the heck would she be worth? I've seen a few blown SSs sell for mid to high $20K on this site. I've also thought about returning her to stock and selling my mods then trading her in. She's got avg. miles for a 2003. I'll probably think about it for a few months before making a decision.
