I HAVE A LOWERING KIT FOR A 02 SILVERADO AND I WANT TO USE IT ON THE SS. WHICH IS A KIT FOR A 99-06 SILVERADO WILL I HAVE CLEARENCE PROBLEMS WITH A 3/4 DROP? rivierakid55 Posted October 11, 2007 Report Share Posted October 11, 2007 you should be able to do a 3/4 on your SS. the awd kits are the same for the 2wd trucks. the front will be really close on lock to lock but myself/kelleyperformance/out2win and a few others are 3 inches dropped in the front without any problems.
