383ss Posted January 11, 2004 Report Share Posted January 11, 2004 yep, 365 miles on the clock and I put it on the dyno. completely stock! removed the front driveshaft, took about 15 minutes and it was ready to go. ran it 4 times, twice in 2nd gear and twice in 3rd gear. in 3rd it would dyno about 25-30hp/tq higher for whatever reason, but wouldn't get a full run because of the limiter. it would hit the governor around 105mph so it would shutdown at around 4700rpms, so the results are a little bit guessing. best full run in second gear was 263rwhp so, we calculated about 290ish rwhp. Tq was 319@about 3900rpm. i'll post the graph when I can and it will be obvious what I'm talking about if you can't make sense of it this was completely STOCK EDIT: added graph Stock SS dyno run the runs were made in 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd.
