IFISH2
Will be installing new Performance Friction pads next week. I have 32,000 miles on my SS. Should I have rotors turned prior to install. Currently no surging while braking.

2006SilverSS
on stock rotors with that many miles I would. Like 12'SROCK said, that way the pads can bed correctly with the rotors. Plus you want to remove any possibility of old pad material.
Fireman31
Turn them, you may not have any pulsing/shimmying, buy having that many miles on the rotors there still will be some imperfections on the rotor surface. As already stated, it is better to start with a clean surface, this way the pads bed properly and have a longer life.
