Shift Kit Install Question...

Recommended Posts

you dont have to pull it, you are right.

but how would you want to install some bb's? upsidedown or using gravity?

same with servo', they might be easier to install in the truck casue you can pry on the truck to compress them.

you are replacing the stock cooler so that part of the trans is not changed

then tuning to change the stuff you cant see:)

its the best way, then if it is not in right (which more than one have been) you have someone who you can take it too.

it's really hard to get some pleasure from kicking your self:)

Dont slip on these mods that can drop some time and make the truck a new beast with out adding to the engine, a simple Dacco($200+install) stall put in when you add the shift kit can add .3-.4 seconds to your ET!

these were my first mods you will say out loud (even when driving by yourself) "this is how the truck should have come from the factory!"

i dont think pulling its the best option if he isnt gonig to do a converter. adds a lot of unneed time to the install. if your gonna do a converter then yes pull it or have a shop pull the trans otherwise leave it in and do it in the truck.
