South Florida Ls1/sss Meet?

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to throw an idea out there for a South Florida SSS/ Fbody meet when it gets cooler. Maybe December/January time. Moroso is close by (Palm Beach Gardens)so I'm sure we'll be using that to our advantage and maybe a cruise/ meet before or after. Possibly get an idea started early so word can be spread in advance. Hope to meet up with you local SSS members. Lemme know what you guys think.

There's a show this weekend at the Mardi Gras Racetrack and Casino (Pebroke Rd. & US-1). It's open to all years, etc. I will be there with my Red 05 SSS. There's also the Renegade Corvette Club Car Show at Ed Morse Sawgrass in January. There's another one coming up at the Festival Flea Market. Frankly, I think we should all get together one Saturday and terrorize Alabama Jack's on Card Sound Road.

Ya, that sounds good. I was thinking more north of you because we would have the option to hit Moroso. I know you guys have an 1/8th down there but once you've ran on a 1/4, going to an 1/8 is no fun. I think we should do a get together at moroso then hit the track. I noticed alot of guys in South Florida have not seen this thread yet maybe because its tucked all the way in here but I'll start gettin the word out for around December or january with some better temps.

Also, do you have any more info on the Festival Flea Market meet? I'm about 10 mins away from that (if your talking about the Coconut Creek one) I Would be down for that.

If you want to go drag racing, Moroso is pretty much it. Our 1/8 mile here is on again off again. The deal at the Festival is in Pompano, which I guess is close to Coconut Creek. It's December 2nd. You'll want to pre-register. http://www.cruisinsouthflorida.com/2007/1E...02.Festival.htm

We missed Super Chevy Weekend two weeks ago. That white stuff that comes out of the sky, if you're north of Jax, is going to be coming down soon. It's not out of the question to attract some Silverado SS Snowbirds. January/February would proabably be best. Too much stuff going on in December. January and February are still wide open on the Moroso calendar.

Keep in touch. Provided it doesn't conflict with a Corvette or Antique Car Show, I'll be there.
