I have found a PI 2800 in texas, I have not found out what the model # and if it has the single or triple disc lockup?? Any experence with PI, I know a few are running the triple disc but did anyone get the single? I think this was in acar, will that matter?? I am ready to pull the TBTC...but I need a plan for what is going back in: 1. I have been considering taking the TBTC to a shop and having them cut it open, flush it and see if they can "fix it" to stall a bit higher. 2. Buy a used PI 2800 3. Buy a used Yank 3000-that was in a damaged trans, so it will need to be freshened. 4. 4L60E LS1 Torque Converter Super StreetFighter™ Lock-up (Part number 242932) 3200 stall all are priced accordingly (cheaper than new) but the biggest thing is getting the TC that is going back inso I dont drop my trans and not know what is next.
