I've seen the NGK's, but I agree that Denso is better for GM. Thanks for the help If you have the plug number, go here Denso cross-ref, enter your number and it will give the Denso replacement. Then if you wanted to go colder, the higher the number the colder the plug. I'm thinking that GM has already put a fairly cold plug in there stock, since it was s-chgd from the factory. Your call. BenKey Posted January 26, 2004 Report Share Posted January 26, 2004 Finally got the right NGK, short reach, iridium plug. Just thought I'd put it in here for future ref in case someone goes the same route I did with the heads. The plugs are a UR-6IX. It's just a short reach TR-6, but iridium. $6.99 a plug.
