00silverad0
Well, in my other thread I told you guys that the tranny started acting up. Pulled over adn now the truck will not move in any gear even reverse. I think it was due to losing fluid which should be covered under warantee however, I had a vette servo in there. If I replaced the vette servo with the stock servo, could I still be covered under warrantee? Need help, its being towed to the trans shop and the guys gonna call me and see what I wanna do. I asked him about the warantee and he said it depends on who looks at it. Any help would be great. I'm going to call GMPP later and talk with them so I might not have to pay 1200 for this. Fireman31
Cant hurt anything by trying right? I say put a GM servo back in and take it to the dealer, you have nothing to lose.
brobradh77
You have a shift kit as well dont ya? I'd say you need to change that back because i would think if they spotted it they would void your warranty. The shift kit however i dont think they will notice unless they drive your truck afterward. So i dunno.
00silverad0
No sir, shift kit was supposed to be installed next monday and now this. All I have in there now is a vette servo. I'm gonna tell the shop they towed it to just to replace the servo and try and bring it to gm.
misterp
Warranty it The dealer will never figure out that it is a Vette servo and all you'll be out is $20. Mr. P.
