Tires?

I am getting tires for X-mass and was wondering if anyone had any input on which ones are best for a 03 SS AWD. was considering the BFGoodrich KDW 285-55-20. any input wold be appriciated!

I have Yokohama Parada Spec-X (275/55VR-20). No issues to report.

 

There are a million posts on the subject. There are a number of other favorite tires. Try a search.

Search button is your friend here, but I'll throw in my $.02

 

According to TireRack.com, General Grabber UHP are the best in the summer tire category (see link: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresult...y.jsp?type=SST). I plan on buying a set based on that information, although they will only be summer tires.

 

For winter tires, using the same process, Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow are the best in the winter tire category (see link: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresult...pe=W&VT=LT). I plan on buying those for my winter tire set.

 

If you don't want/need/can't afford two sets of tires/wheels, then it looks like Avon Tech ST wins out in the all-season category (see link: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresult...jsp?type=SSTAS). Those might be your best bet.

 

Take a careful look at the reviews and survey results before you make your decision, however, because some tires have a lot more reported miles than others, and as such the results might be a little biased.
