brobradh77
I thinking my battery is about to quit on me. When we first got the laptop about 9 months ago it would take over an hour before it was drained but now hear lately i get about 30 minutes. Any suggestions on a good replacement? Thanks. KissMySilvSS
When you leave your battery in your computer while it is plugged in all the time and you don't drain it completely at least once a week it ruins the battery because it becomes dependent on the charger... this causes the battery to become in able to hold a charge. brobradh77
well it does stay plugged in when not in use but it usually drains down enough that the computer shuts off atleast once a week
kissfans03ss
I have an older compaq that was not holding a charge, maybe 15-25 mins so i went to my local battery shop and i got a generic battery and charger for about $160.00 bucks, the reason i bought a new charger was if you were to touch the power cord coming from the wall and going into the charger the wire was actually warm so i figured what the hell and spent the extra dough.
