Also, what header brand do you recommend? I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'd like to know your genuine thoughts. kelleyperformance Posted January 4, 2008 Report Share Posted January 4, 2008 IMO unless you start moving alot more air (ie forced induction and/or huge cam) you will without question loose low end torque and some peak hp. i have seen it time and time again on our dyno on corvettes, which move more air to begin with. stick with 2.5"..... i have true dual 2.5" off of dynatech 1 3/4" headers and am making 590 whp. i have no restriction. before i had 3" dumped a foot or two after the muffler. i lost a considerable ammount of low end torque (and yes i tune the truck after any change so it wasnt that) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
