smoke03 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 Ok ive been told that a 160* tstat will cause your truck to run cooler BUT a cooler running engine wheres out sooner? Is that true? Ive also been told that my heater wont be AS warm as it has been? Any truth to that too? I ordered my Tstat this morning and now im kinda worried. Put my mind to ease guys. However if you search you will find the some of the guys do notice that the heater does not get as hot when putting a lower t stat in... wody Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 (edited) kind of dumb to think that a 160 t-stat won't heat the cab to the max setting which is 90. not your fault, but i'd slap the fool who said it won't be as sufficient.
