I suppose i will purchase a gatorback but how do i know what length to ask for? I wish to replace the 3.6 pulley with a 3.2 at the same time. Will i need a shorter belt or will the idler take up the difference? . My intentions are to install the pulley , 160 stat and have it custom tuned same day. 2004gibbstruck Posted February 14, 2008 Report Share Posted February 14, 2008 I have the stock size belt on mine with the 3.2 pulley.It seems ok (no slip).I'm running a dayco belt though.
