SSThunder
Well I was just thinking again about gutting my dynatech cats. Yeah I know I keep talking about this. I still haven't installed my wideband so I was wondering. If I gut the dynatech cats, could I plug in the wideband o2 were the rear o2 is? Or would that be too far away from the engine? Anybody else try this?
Rausche
Sure you could... But I wouldn't gut your nice expensive high-flow cats just for the wibeband... I would either gut the stock cats, turn off the cats in the tuning, and install the WB on your old crossover pipe or Do what I'm doing and surely a few others have done and install the WB in your front 02 bung and tie your truck's stock wiring into the WB. Then you have nice shiny high flow cats and the WB. Edited February 14, 2008 by Rausche (see edit history)
12'SROCK
just weld a bung onto the driverside header collector and you would be good
