wanger Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 03 silv SS 6.0 pcm is fried from inproper tuning from hp, we know now what not to do. anyway my question is: is the pcm vehicle specific, or can i go to the junk yard and get a pcm from another chev truck and will it be compatible? With EFILive, you'd have no issues, but I'm not sure if HPTuners will allow you to change the VIN and operating system on one though...
