I going to install my gauges here pretty soon and it says to attach the white wire to dash lighting.. so my question is ..... the color of this lighting wire suppose to find is white? 04CHASE Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 well this is what i did. i found the wire it was supposed to be and read voltage as i dimmed the interior lights it should read near 12 at all the way on and lower as you dim the lights. kaotik1 Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 What they want you to do is find the wire that goes hot when the dash lights come on. This is so your guages will light up at night. Not sure what the wire color is, but use a test light at the headlight switch. When you turn on the headlights the test light will go on.
