brobradh77
I've noticed that when the ads are moving like the Edge Product banner etc..under the search menu when you click on those the pop up box is hidden behind the ads. Its really frustrating when i'm tryin to search for a topic and cant becuase of this. This could also explain why noone uses it that much. scooter3
I found this very frustrating when I first started lurking around. I know search is important on forums. I had to keep refreshing the page in order for it to work.

Vortec MAX
I've had the same issue, and with the Edge Products ad. I posted a long time ago about it being "pesky' when someone was ragging on a newbie for not using the search button. Link to post If you go to a different page, it sometimes will allow you access to the search box. Mike P.S. After looking at the post, maybe it was me ragging on the newbie Edited February 28, 2008 by Vortec MAX (see edit history)
NolletSSS
I have noticed this to, but there is another search function when you click on "my assistant". I just use that one as it will let you know how many posts are related to your search you are trying for. Hope that helps for anyone who didn't know
KissMySilvSS
Yeah, it always does it to me also. I just click on a different page, or wait for it to change. It is a PITA though!
