evandostert
Why don't us close to stock guys just have aamco rebuild our tranny's. I am replacing my intake with a gmpp and ripping off my nos. The only thing left that does not look stock is the aftermarket exhaust and manifolds. Why not take them up on a rebuild with lifetime warranty. You could even run a head/cam package maybe a 408 with stock intake. They would have to honor the warranty. I am gonna look into the aftermarket exhaust if that cancels out the warranty. We could even crank up the line pressure run no tq mang. Beat the hell out of it.
Fireman31
You might want to read the fine print on their warranty, I bet there are certain terms and conditions that define what is covered and for how long for reasons like this........... SS_bnoon_SS
Not to mention you would have a rebuilt stock tranny every time that would last maybe 20K miles if you're planning on a 408 and take it REALLY easy. It's like having a warrantied polished turd...
