Anyone Tried These?

I was going to buy the Belltech 2" drop shackles (Click Here) to level out my truck but first I wanted to see if anyone had done this and what the results were. My goal is to simply make my truck sit level without having to modify the front suspension. I searched but could not find a truck that had only used the shackles, all I found were ones that had a drop in the front also.

 

Any help and/or recommendations appreciated

Most trucks are droppped 2" more in the back to lose the rake. I think 2" shackles would level your truck fine..I did that on my 94 chevy and it looked good.

you will be fine. Alot of people use shackles to level out the truck.

Here is mine with the drop shackles. Does level the truck out.

Thanks for the info. Summit's website says that I should also buy the axle shims, so should I go ahead and buy them or would it be okay to wait and see if the truck vibrates after the drop and then buy the shims if needed?

Hmmm.... I havent hear of any vibration problems whit just a 2" rear drop, but just get them in case you need them.

don't buy the shims. I've got a 2" drop with shackles and no problems so far.
