cwest94
I wondered that same thing. Watch the TV show Rob and Big that's on MTV, Rob did that to his GMC Yukon. It sort of sick looking in certain light.
SS Silv
I wondered that same thing. Watch the TV show Rob and Big that's on MTV, Rob did that to his GMC Yukon. It sort of sick looking in certain light. It does look cool. I think flat black with chrome wheels would look unique.

Hankg42
At one time, I had a '53 Merc 2 door hardtop that only had primer on it. It looked flat black.
kissfans03ss
I personally like the look of flat paint if used right like on older cars,as stripes on muscle cars etc,i am even thinking of painting flat black stripes on the cowl hood i will be buying soon for my truck.BTW in case no one knows they are making flat black paint for cars now in stead of flat primer. brobradh77
Rob's ride is cool I guess but everytime I see it Primer also pops into my mind.

usabodyguard
Ive seen Robs tahoe in person and while it looks good... a couple of things to point out... flat black is actually a pretty difficult paint job according to my painter... the body has to be flawless, such as in a new car, and how and what you use makes a big difference... it is not like a regular clear where you can color sand it to look ok... it has to be shot a certain way? so i was told... and you can clear it with an eggshell clear... as with any custom paint job make sure you get the exact paint code ahead of time! Many painters will marry themselves to your vehicle by holding out on the blends and colors used... you will be forced to go back to them if anything happens, accident, etc.
