thunder550
I'll probably get to work debadging it here in the next few days.
kersey
This is what i like about this site, you can get some great ideas from others. i had a truck just like that and never thought about debaging it. Your truck will look great that way, i wish i would of thought of that when i had mine.
thunder550
I hope it does! Once those badges come off they aren't going back on, even if it doesn't look good, lol. Got the factory torsion keys back in. Getting closer to the target ride hight. Back will come down one more inch....should be a very slight rake. thunder550
Driver's side is done. It felt sacrilegious to peel those Z71 stickers off I was a little sad.
KissMySilvSS
Looks good all debadged. I'm with ChevyMan, if it gets to plain for you, add the GMC Sierra '05-'06 style molding. I like the wheels you have on the truck better than the Titan wheels. Is your truck dirty, or are the rockers peppered with chips?? Noticed that in each photo. Again, looking good
Eddie
It looks clean with all the junk removed
thunder550
It's just dirty....I drove through some wet road paint awhile ago on a road trip and it dried before I could do anything about it. Once I finish this project I'm going to have it detailed with a clay bar and the whole deal...hopefully all of that will come off.
KissMySilvSS
Gotcha It would look good with smoked tails/3rd brake light as well! Lookin' good man!
thunder550
Shackles came in yesterday Got the stance/ride height all set. Three things left to do... 1. Install 2wd u-bolts 2. Align front end 3. Install new tires and wheels Getting close!
5.3STEPSIDE
My first attempt and doing some real photoshopping...I think it turned out pretty well Ok....got some chops. Trying to figure out what height I want the truck to sit at. Current unaltered photo. Titan 18's with the 265/70-18's that came with them. Unaltered photo. Titan 18's on with roughly a 285/55-18 tire, same height as now De-cranked t-bars and rear lift blocks removed Here's another 1-2 inches off the last pic from above Side molding removed. I really like the way this looks. I think this is what I'm gonna do Z71 sticker removed.....not sure if I like it or not. Almost looks too plain IMO. Completely debadged. What do you guys think? stick with the last 1.it looks the best
