A friend has a 2003 Grand Am, and we change the oil every 3000 regardless of the Oil Monitor System. But, i was wondering, can the monitor be reset even thought the light isnt on? Is it the same procedure? With the SS it is easy to reset thru the DIC. But i hate to change the oil at 3000, just to have the light come on soon after. Any help?
