Champion201
I really like the look of the exhaust tips coming out in front of the rear passanger tire vs the stock location but want to know if there are any drawbacks to having this done. Does it make the truck to loud, will it increase the 6.0 drone? Anything else I should be aware of? Thanks all. Mike
kersey
IMO, it just looks better, I get less interior sound and the tires are not throwing trash on the tips.

I've been considering doing it then I saw yours and that made me want to change mine even more. Looks great!
kersey
Due to the lack of room to mount the mufflers and exit the exhaust in front of the tire, you need to think about what size and how many mufflers you want installed. with a little tweaking they got my dual 40 series tucked in. A quality installer should be able to help.
speedline
I have a 2 1/2 magnaflo cat back, a huge muffler that acts as a y pipe, duel 2 1/2 rear exit under the bumper through huge 4x12 in. 'camaro tips'. Lots of comps. Quiet at idle but sounds agressive at any speed.
slammedbowtie
mine is pretty loud. my mufflers and cats are pretty much as small as you can get and my exhaust guy still had to go a little past and come back to make it fit cuz of the x pipe. Champion201
Looking under my truck I'm not sure if I can make this mod work due to the fact that my Cal Tracs appear to be in the way. Is anyone running the modified exhaust exit with Cal Tracs? If so, some pics would sure be nice. Thanks
