If yall had any problems and what can I really expect from having one...and are they BETTER than the factory system. I know nothing about alarm systems and need as much info as possible. ces63ss Posted June 25, 2008 Report Share Posted June 25, 2008 most of your top name brand alarms are made by 1 company, Directed electronics. they make Viper, pyton, clifford and a couple other. I have the viper 7100. I really like it. One thing i have noticed is from several other people alarm installs is that there is fault in the installs thanks to gm.
