Need More Torque!

I have a 2005 silverado 2wheel drive with a 5.3l, 3.73's, cai, throttlebody spacer, msd wires, lt headers, no cat's, with 3'' flowmaster exhaust, comp cams 208/212 .554/.558 on a 115lsa, 1.75 roller rockers, and a custom tune. I have good mid and upper power. However, my truck def lacks it in the pants when it comes to take off. I haven't had my tune updated since the cam. I'll be getting that done soon, so I hope that will help. Anyone have any sugestions, or am I only looking at gears? I am rolling on 285/50/20's and I can barley chrip them on a hard take off.

torque converter, shift kit and upgraded trans cooler :thumbs:

:withstupid: that seems like a very mild cam, I would think 2800+ stall plus would be fine.......don't forget billet servos and alluminum accumulator pistons

I've been meaning to take the TB spacer out but I lost the shorter bolts and haven't ad a chance to go to Ace and get some. What's wrong with the Flowmaster??? What muffler is better?? :chevy:

Flowmasters are known for killing low end torque, Magnaflow is the way to go. :chevy:

I could be wrong, but doesn't more back pressure (restriction) give you better torque and less back pressure (no restriction) give you more horse power?

For the most part, but from tests flows seem to have a little bit less on the numbers than magnaflows... I went with sound that i enjoy more than what made the most power..
