bdaly
Nice! Is the install a pain in the butt? How many holes do you make in the truck?
shopman1
Good point, the install is easy. The kit comes with holes the the front and back pieces that match up with the bolts that hold the struts on the body, no drilling. There is 2 in the front and 3 in the back. The holes are punched to fit. At the bottom of each sidepiece you use a large multi purpose tie to hold the bottom to the lower strut. The only drilling is on the back piece. You drill 1/8 holes through the lower edge of the outer wheel well and attach the sidepiece. Pop rivets come in the kit or you can use a flat head sheet medal screw as well. I have heard that some one glued it on with 3M. Some have told me that when they did snow plowing that before they put the kit on they had all kinds of snow packed up under the wheel wells and the bed, after the kit, no more! Thanks for the question!
