slammedbowtie
the replacement drop leafs are cnsidered a 3" drop and end up being a 4" drop. my question is...if i replace my drop leafs with a hanger shackle kit should i go with a 4" drop or a 3" drop? will the 4" be a 4" inch drop? cuz the leafs say 3" and are 4". not sure which to order. 04fullsize
A 4" shackle and hanger combo will net you a true 4" drop. Springs are kinda funny cause they can settle over time and give you a little more than the advertised drop, but with the S/H combo you get a true drop. slammedbowtie
hmmmm should have measured before i dropped mine to see exactly how far it went down so i could figure out if i should get 3 or 4 inch kit.
NTMD8R_SS
My mcgaughy kit (hanger/shackle) can be 3 or 4" drop, just depending whitch holes you place the leafspring in. Hopefully tommorow the hangers will be on.
