Doughty08
I am wondering if there is an adapter, so you can use the steering wheel controls with an aftermarket cd player, or if it just magicly works?

fast4popper
yeah there is an adapter i have one it works when it wants to though my volume up control barely works yes they do have them. and IF programmed PROPERLY they work great! when i say properly, they work off of one wire and read resistance. you have to do this with the truck running otherwise the voltage is higher thus lowering the resistance and weird things can happen, as stated above. IF you have a aftermarket headunit with a direct plug in the back for steering wheel controls, this is even easier and more reliable. either way good luck and i highly recomend letting a shop do your programing and install. haul@ss
don't get a universal adapter. I have the pac swi-ps for my avic d3 and you don't have to line anything up with the infrared eye, it plugs in directly to the back of the head unit, plus there isn't really any lag.
