BigBadJohn
anybody here try those thrush glass packs that are red and go straight through? they look like they have even less resistance than a cherry bomb, so i imagine they would be really loud, but in a good way. experience or opinions anyone? gmc55
My father in law has them on a 5.7 hemi and there not near as loud as the super 40 flows he had on before. They are pretty quiet actually. He's having super 44's put on next week.
evandostert
They sound mean and really loud but will drive you nuts unless your a kid. Plus they snap and crackle whenever you slow down great for tickets. I would only buy the thrush brand because i am a nut over old school performance stuff. Just a nostalgia thing. 12'SROCK
glass packs may seem like they flow but they are horrible for performance
BigBadJohn
i'm getting the impression that most run magnaflows, but nobody ever seems to specify WHICH magnaflows their using.
evandostert
Pick what ever one you like for pipe routing and sound. Quite get the largest dual muffler with an x-tube. Loud go for a smaller stubby mufffler. They make tons of variety.
