Carl Eagle
ya man i hear ya ive had mine at the body shop for about two weeks now... im thinking of just painting myself, how much paint and clear did you use?? Maybe you can help me i need to paint both bumpers, cowl hood, 12 cladding pieces do you have an idea how much paint i will need? I think you will need about a quart of paint if you mix it 1 part paint and 1 part reducer. So you will come out with a half a gallon of paint and about two quarts of clear. You can probably get by with less clear but I like to have extra just in case.
Carl Eagle
Usually I shake my head at the clones, and most look like poor imitations....just wishin' they spent the money earlier and bought the real mccoy...and then I see this...Looks really good!!!..needs 20' SS wheels, just my .02 Thanks for the compliment, I've put a lot of work in this truck. I was gonna buy the real deal but this one is paid for and I am getting ready to build a house. I didnt need another payment with the expence of the new home. And for the wheels I am waiting on a friend of mine to price me a set that he has in storage. I will post some pics when I get them on. zippy
With looking at what you started with, quite an improvement. I agree on the wheels, but can't really make it much past the hood. A standard cowl would be more SSS like. Either way, very good work. You made a boring truck look good.
