04CHASE Posted September 14, 2008 Report Share Posted September 14, 2008 i suggest you hold off and do some reading. the whipple is a decent blower but the fueling for it sucks and i think they are non intercooled so that there would lead me away. your transmission will not last either. youll need to beef it up . brobradh77 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Share Posted September 14, 2008 I agree with Chase...not many run a whipple and there is a reason for it....as for the tranny it seams to be the weak point but its also hit and miss...some never have a problem others have a stock set up and have gone thru a couple.. zeake Posted September 15, 2008 Report Share Posted September 15, 2008 Whipple is useless unless you are a mustang. I had one and was so happy to be rid of it. It actually slowed me down.
