GetWithIt Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 i was wondering if you had to paint the engine covers with high temp paint. saw some using it i was just wondering if it was a requirement Some people do, but I just used regular dupli-color paint and clear on mine.............I think it's all in the prep work personally.............after sanding the vortec emblem off, and smoothing it up, I just used some adhesion promoter followed by some coats of filler/primer.......Haven't had any problems with it so far............
