jbrim Posted March 13, 2004 Report Share Posted March 13, 2004 Can somebody tell me the difference between between a 4L60E and a 4L65E? Which of these transmissions come in the SS? I've heard both and I'm a little confused. My trans is starting to slip pretty good and occasionally it flies out of 1st and 2nd if I get on it pretty hard. I'd get it covered under warranty. If for some reason you can't, I'd get in touch with a relable trans shop, and have your 65E repaired. There is no need to buy a new one. I should note, I've got about 12K supercharged miles, so the likleyhood of getting a transmission problem covered under warranty are slim unless I return the truck to stock and play dumb?
