TX-SS
What are the benefits to having the coated headers other than having the engine bay temperatures cooler? Would I be vulnerable to any problems if i used non-coated long tube headers?

Fireman31
Uncoated stainless headers are prone to heat bleed off, pitting, blueing, and increased underhood temps. Ceramic coating helps keep under hood temps down while preventing heat bleed off, not to mention it keeps the headers looking nice for a long time.
