lunaru03 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 Hi guys, I was thinking last night if its possible to make a wood bed cover for my truck instead expending more than 500 bucks in one of fiber glass. I thought to buy a sheet of wood, cut it to fit my truck bed. Round it at the borders, apply 2 lyers or fiber glass and then paint it to match the truck color. I know it sounds crazy but it will save some money since the total work will be around 150 usd, including wood, fiberglass, paint and mounting hardware. What do you think about it ? It looks nice and strong enough at the outside, but I didn't like too much the under face. May be with an extra job I can make it look better.
