flash2003
The other day i pulled out the air cleaner box and noticed the two holes for air to get into the box. There is a plastic air duct between the inner and outer fender that runs down to the seam between the passenger side bumper and fender. Also it is not hooked to the air box but it almost blocks the lower opening for air intake. can any one tell me what the hell is thay plastic duct for ??????????????? ps if you take out the passenger side head lite you can see it better
deezel
You're talking about the plastic "deflector" piece that is inside the fender, right? I think that is supposed to help keep water out of the stock air box...
flash2003
Hi deezel No it is a air tube that starts at the 3/4" opening between the fender and bumper meet on the passenger side. The tube runs from there and almost back to the anntenna is . Pull your passenger side head lite out and look in between the inner and outer fender sheet metal. ( use a flash lite )Its a black plastic air tube. Its seems to be kinda of loose so I tried to move it around to see if it fits on the air box no luck
