brembo fronts are like $3k

the brembo uses three different size pistons

the vette uses three same size pistons

vette pads are not cheap.

I have spent some time on the vette fourm and no one has complained...but if its a track car they always upgrade the pad/rotor...then the get the brembo. I have some pad info, one piece pads....yadayadayda

hey supersub :finger::

I was wondering if any of you have priced out brembo systems compared to the vet brake systems and weather brembo is better or not

Vette front is $1300 or so with 15" rotors

Brembo is around $5K for the Gran Turismo front setup.

Baer 6s front setup is around $3K.

I think the vette wins, lol.

X2 on that. For the price of even the baers, you could do front and rear vette brakes and still have a pocket full of green lol :D

thanx, would you just go to a chev dealer and get rotors, pads and calipers and start shimming or where would you get them? also i live in canada if that makes a difference. by that i mean where would you get a kit from a corvette?

rotors you would have to get somewhere else.

calipers, yes dealer. but cheaper on ebay

pads, dealer, aftermarket...a birdie told me you could get'em at autozone :) but they are not cheap

no shimming only clamping force of six pistons!

YOu get brackets/rotors from one place and calipers/pads you source.
