Even though they are skinny, skinnier tires get better traction in snow/icey situations. Grab some mudflaps asap. I just got a set of 18's American Racing Torque Thrust ST's from my brother. Just need to grab some new rubber for those and new rear brakes and I am good. Those look good with the quickpaint Mike, might powdercoat the AR ST's..... Saw the first snowfall today....
