with the patriot ls6/ls2 style heads?

I want a new intake that flowed a little bit better because i want to go 408.

Will this be better than the fast or car type intakes?

I dont want to lose much low end.

it will fit. ls1,ls6 and lq9 are all interchangable parts. Well, most of them. as for the intake depends. Are you planning on boosting it too. if you are go with a spider web intake. im goint with a TBSS intake with my cam swap because im getting a very good deal on one and i just wanna dip into the 12's but eventually i plan on a spider mani...good luck on your built

if youre not 408 yet the tbss intake would work well

 

408 go with a vic

 

got a tbss intake if you need it cheap pm me. just intake no fuel rails , do have some stock injectors though
