snoopy Posted March 25, 2004 Report Share Posted March 25, 2004 I took my ss into the dealer for a transmission (reverse) problem, I will try to explain what it was doing. When you put it in reverse and immediately give it gas as you normally would it just slips untill you let off the gas then it clunks into gear. But if you put it in reverse and waite 3 to 5 second's before you touch the gas it's fine. The dealer said my reverse clutches are burnt or NFG, the parts are on order and they are going to overhaul my transmission, but I'm not sure to what extent. I'm not sure what to think.
