I know the kit gives you a K&N filter, but I'm wondering if there's more air to be had. Just as an aside, someone told me to just take a 3" diameter hole saw and drill a hole in the bottom of the stock air box - a lot cheaper than a Volant, etc. Hmm. BenKey Posted March 26, 2004 Report Share Posted March 26, 2004 I have the Volant - no issues for fitment with the Radix. Yes, you could do the hole in your stock box. Some on here have done it. GEAR M UP Posted March 26, 2004 Report Share Posted March 26, 2004 I just got the Volant. You must use the Radix tube from the Air box to the blower.
