Doughty08 Posted December 28, 2008 Report Share Posted December 28, 2008 (edited) I just installed a set of taylor wires and an airaid tbs. It idle's normal until i tap the gas then come's down to a grand and slowly goes down to 500. When i have it in drive and come to a stop light it just wants to keep going, and theres a smell that i can't be sure if something is wrong or if i am just paranoid. When i start it it sounds like i have a cam for a few minutes then goes away, and now the check engine light is on. Anyone's advice would be a major help. Rausche Posted December 28, 2008 Report Share Posted December 28, 2008 Remove the Throttle Body Spacer, it's just added weight. Post up Part Numbers for the Taylor Wires. AFA the CEL, go to your local NAPA, Autozone, Dealer, or just plain old service center. Any of them should be able to read the code for you.
