Hrtbeat1 Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 Jeez maybe Im dating myself but I remeber watching the first test flight of the shuttle on TV. Well actually it was a glide. They piggy backed on a 747 then broke free for the test flight. Guess that was '78 or '79 can't remember. I also remember watching Neil Armstrong take "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Dad was working for NASA as a contractor at the time. One of my earliest memories.
