Texas_Veteran
Ok, so today I noticed that my SS had the check engine light on and wasn't running as good. I bought myself a scan tool and it gave me the code P0101 which is an electrical failure code. I have no idea what it could be. Also, my drivers seat is acting weird. When I pull out the key, instead of going al the way back, it comes all the way forward. Also, the switch to push the seat forward/backwards is reversed. When I push it forward, it goes backwards, and it goes forward when I push it to the rear. Does anyone know what could be going on? Thanks for the help! Rays B4U
www.GM-Trucks.com has a trouble code lookup on it and your code shows: Results for: P0101 Trouble Code Description P0101 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem
Fireman31
The code isn't related to your seat, but you do need to clean your MAF sensor......
misterp
Make sure the tube from the air cleaner to the throttle body has not popped-off; this code usually means "the motor's running, but I'm not getting a reading from thre MAF" Mr. P. kcsilveradoss
saw a lot of memory seat modules go bad and cause the seat problem you are having in my day....
FireRescueSS
Sounds like you got two problems at once.. and they sound like they are not related to each other. Can't help with the seat, but it sounds like your MAF sensor needs alittle TLC.
