I CORNER Posted April 5, 2004 Report Share Posted April 5, 2004 Hey Guys & Gals: The Gaylord X2000 with Speedstur Wing is a great looking & great quality lid that compliments the Silverado SS. It even fits over the stock SSS tailcap! http://www.msnusers.com/ICORNERssite/shoebox.msnw However, it still needs the option of an electric lock to make it convenient! Please do yourselves & I a big favor: CALL GAYLORD DIRECTLY AND TRY TO CONVINCE THEM TO OFFER A TWIN ELECTRIC LOCK FEATURE FOR THIS LID! The more people that ask for it, the more likely they will offer it. Many folks on this site have chosen to get the SnugTop or ARE for the electric lock feature. If Gaylord had this feature, it would be the best hard tonneau cover in looks, quality AND convenience! It needs to be a twin-lock feature for 2 reasons: (1) a single lock takes up a lot of room underneath with the rods and may change the good looks of the lid; (2) a twin-lock retrofit would give them the market to sell alot of the kits to existing X2000 (or traditional) lid owners (of all makes).
